Ringing in the New Year

We enjoyed celebrating the start of 2008 on New Year's Eve at the Rancho Bernardo Inn with lots of family. Can't belive how grown up Kelly & Dustin look!

Disneyland

The family spent a weekend at Disneyland in February to celebrate Aunt Gina's 50th birthday. Here are Kelly & Dustin acting like they really like each other... :)

Easter Break

Easter Sunday was spent eating and hunting for eggs with family :)

After Easter we took a last minute trip to Peoria, AZ to watch the Padres Spring Training. On the way back to San Diego we stopped in Yuma for a couple days... hot, but relaxing!

Graduation Day

After 9 years at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, Dusty graduated from 8th grade in June and became a Freshman at Cathedral Catholic High School in late August. Two high schoolers in the house now... WOW!!

4th of July in Palm Springs

The family spent a weekend in Palm Springs to celebrate the 4th of July with family from Arizona... always a fun time!!

Summer

We enjoyed many warm, relaxing days (and nights!) at the beach this summer. We hung out with family and friends on the sand and in the water, had a BBQ on the beach some evenings, and took our dog to Dog Beach on other nights. It all made for a great summer in San Diego :)

High School Football

Dusty enjoyed playing his first year of high school football on the Freshmen team. He was the team's kicker and also got some chances to play running back.

Teen Driver!

Kelly took her driver's test this past August and passed to get her license. She really enjoys being able to drive herself to school and other places with friends. And she's adapted pretty well to driving that big green truck... :)

A Bit of Sibling Rivalry...

The highlight of the high school football season each year is the "Holy Bowl", the big game between Cathedral Catholic High School (where Dustin attends) and Saint Augustine High School (the brother school to OLP, where Kelly attends). The rivalry between the schools always makes for a very spirited and fun game (especially this year now that we have one kid at each school!). Even though they each wear their school's colors, they're still family :)

Happy Holidays

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Hope your holidays are warm and bright and that 2009 is even better.

Best Wishes,
Frank, Kris, Kelly & Dustin
